My interest in clowns began after attending an event in Brooklyn and discovering Clown Cult, an amazing collective with many queer performers. I have been performing solo characters at comedy theaters for a decade and there such is such a clear connection between the two, it felt very familiar. I’m excited to take a clown class soon. For now I will paint clown make up in vintage dolls with acrylic markers.
